Checked in this at the airport and the bag swallowed the whole Doona plus base without a struggle. The extra padding gave me peace of mind when I saw it tossed onto the conveyor, and the zipper glided smooth even with the seat wedged inside.

The padding is really solid, so my Doona and its base fit in there with zero jostling, and the whole thing felt secure through two flights now. It's a bit bulky to lug around the airport, but that's the trade-off for knowing your gear won't get trashed.

I was nervous about checking this on the flight, but the thick padding around the edges kept the whole combo safe with zero scuffs. The base fit right alongside the car seat exactly as promised, which made gate-checking a breeze. Definitely worth it for protecting something this pricey.
